Everyone knows a girls best friend is all her products, face products, hair products, make up, nail stuff and all that junkie. I’m here to share my favorite little make-up products, although I’m no make up artists and I really don’t know much about the finest/best makeup products I would show you the things I mostly use, where i got them from, the price, and why i love them.
My first favorite product is the Revlon Color-burst Lipstick in Soft Nude, I wanted to compare it to the YSL Rouge Volupte because even though I absolutely adore it I still think Revlon does it all for me. Some people might also wonder “but why! YSL is obviously a better quality better name brand and therefore a better lipstick” I definitely thought the same while buying and trying on every shade of ‘nude’ just to find the right one. Don’t get me wrong, everyone has their own special taste you might not entirely agree with me and that’s okay. However, for me it’s not about how expensive and famous a product is, it’s how I like it on my skin and complexion, a $10 dollar lipstick turned out to be the one for me instead of a $34 one. Below theres pictures showing both shades.
This first pictures shows Revlon’s Soft Nude, its a very nice nude kind of peachy, it’s just the perfect shade. This lipstick is available at any stores like Rite Aide, Duane Reade, Walgreens, Target, for approximately 10 Bucks.
In compare to Revlon’s Soft Nude, YSL Rouge Volupte is more a creamy pasty lipstick and it has more of a pinkish shade to it, still an amazing lipstick and recommended. This lipstick is available in stores like Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Ebay, Amazon for approximately $34.
Next on my list of favorite products are all these little lipsticks. I don’t usually wear color lipstick my thing is nude shades all the way but to switch it up here it is. These are Wet & Wild all different lipstick shades. This brand is one of the cheapest in the business and yet they are amazing, these lipsticks are approximately about $3, yes only 3 dollars, unbelievable but true. They are all Matte which makes them even more stunning and lovely, the colors are all numbered instead of named. These lipsticks are available at Ride Aide, Target, Duane Reade, Walgreens etc.
After trying thousands of foundation looking for my exact complexion color I came across this impeccable one. L’OREAL True Match, the name says it all right? Well I am lucky to say I found my true match and it’s amazing. I purchase this usually at Duane Reade for about $11 . I’ve been using this foundation for a year now and it’s the best I’ve ever found. Covers very well, isn’t sticky, and after applying your bronzer it looks fantastic. The Elf Foundation Brush I use it’s very cheap, only $1 at Target, I usually buy it every month since its extremely cheap and because I also think its full of germs, it’s good to replace your brushes often, for a clean face.
I use a lot of different bronzers but this is my current one, It gives me a glow and a tan type of look. I would recommend this one to anyone, of course depending on your complexion color. This one is from Prestige Skin Loving Mineral, Its called Sunbaked mineral bronzing powder and I use the Rich Bronze. This is about $10 at any local drug/beauty store such as Duane Reade.
My two favorite brushes, The Elf Blush Brush for only $2 at Targets works wonder, who wouldn’t like this product, very cheap. The smaller brush also from Target (about $5) is called Kabuki Brush, this is for applying powder, blush or bronzer and it’s also very good and useful for me.
Every girl wants beautiful long voluptuous eyelashes, this mascara gives you all that and more! want long lasting eyelashes and beautifully naturally long? you should try this one ASAP. L’OREAL Voluminous False Fiber Lashes. I have purchased it twice already and I think a third time is on the way. You can find this one along with all my other favorite products in Ride Aid etc… for about $10.
I wanted to show you all the 3 different types of eyeliners I have at home, first from left to right is L’OREAL Paris Carbon Black Lineur Intense eyeliner $10, Wet n Wild Mega Liner eyeliner $3 and the Almay Intense I-color eyeliner $6. Out of these 3 eyeliners my favorite one is the cheapest (wet n wild), when I use the other two I have to at least apply the eyeliner three times for a deep black line above my eye, with Wet n wild the rich black liquid works once just perfectly. Don’t be fooled by purchasing the most expensive products when the cheapest can actually be the best one.
Last but not least! Wet n Wild Coverall Stick is another one of my long time favorites. This coverall stick is like a concealer, I apply it around my eyes and under my eyes as I’m applying my foundation, gives me that glow look under my eyes and around them. I Absolutely recommend this one, I purchased this one in Duane Reade for about $3.
Well this concludes my favorite products entry, I hope it helped you pick up your next products when you go shopping, all these things were quite cheap! Hope you consider trying some of these amazing products and coming back and leaving me a feedback on how it worked for you! XOXO
